Prompt Post for Round 4: Night of the Lawn Chairs

It's time for the fourth round of Government Controlled Cats!

The Prompts:

Undulate: Freckles have been banned and the government controls non-compostable dinnerware.

Sneak: Bookbinding has been banned and the government controls baked goods.

Drag: Teenagers have been banned and the government controls fireworks.

Fear: The name Steve has been banned and the government controls magic.

Tweak: Oranges have been banned and the government controls lawn chairs.

Please note, the format has changed from the previous round. All rounds will have different formats.

The Format: A newspaper article
The Format's Length: 1-500 words of original fiction. Please note that entries are not required to use the words from their prompt's title and summary.

That's a good idea! I think that I can promote this community again in dw_community_promo, since it's definitely been thirty days (they have a thirty-day lock-out period for re-promoting) since my last post there. I also did the extension deadline thing, pushing it to the 25th, which is totally a good idea! :D

(FYI, still totally <3 your icon!)

I haven't been very successful in finding flashfic communities on DW (or LJ, really D:) that are for original fiction. Mostly fanfic, which as much as I love fic, is not helpful for us. XD

Do you know of any original flashfic? If you do, I'll totally promote there! :D

I'll probably do promo next Monday, since Friday/weekend seem to be 'dead days' in terms of people being on their journals. :)
